TRANSFORMER
MANUFACTURING PROJECT

A new U.S. manufacturing hub for medium and large power transformers, planned in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Built for the next generation of power

LIMIK is developing a U.S. manufacturing facility for medium and large power transformers — supporting utilities, generation, grid
infrastructure and major energy projects.

The planned facility combines transformer engineering, manufacturing, assembly and full-scale testing in one industrial location.

PROJECT PURPOSE

Powering
the Southeast

LIMIK’s planned factory in Gaffney, South Carolina, would serve the Southeast’s utilities, data centers and industrial projects. Regional production offers opportunities to create skilled jobs, strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce long-distance transport costs.

Manufacturing closer to customers could also lower delivery-related costs and emissions, while supplying the transformers needed for grid modernization and industrial electrification.
